Silicone Resin for Cookware Non-Stick Coatings

Methyl silicone resins serve as the heat-resistant binder phase in cookware non-stick coatings, anchoring PTFE or ceramic particles to aluminum or stainless steel surfaces and enabling continuous service at up to 260 °C. Unlike organic binders that degrade above 150 °C, the silicone resin phase is thermally stable and food-safe.
