Silicone Resin for High-Temperature Coatings
Silicone resins — primarily methyl and methyl-phenyl types — are the dominant binder for high-temperature industrial coatings that must withstand 200–600 °C in service. They are applied to industrial chimneys, exhaust stacks, oven interiors, engine bays, and heat-processing equipment where organic binders char, crack, or delaminate.
